Policies
WaveTix ticketing policies
These policies cover buying and using tickets on WaveTix. They sit on top of Wave’s binding Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which govern your Wave account.
Purchases & fulfillment
A ticket order is confirmed once payment is captured by our payment processor — not when a page loads — so your tickets are issued exactly once even on a flaky connection. Tickets are delivered to your WaveTix wallet and, for guest checkout, by email. Prices are shown in USD and include any per-order service fee before you pay.
Refunds & cancellations
Refund eligibility is set by the event organizer and shown on the event page. If an event is canceled, eligible orders are refunded to the original payment method and the associated tickets are voided. You can request a refund from your order page; approved refunds restore inventory to the event.
Transfers
You may transfer an unused ticket to another person from your wallet. On acceptance, ownership moves to the recipient and the original ticket’s code is invalidated. Reselling tickets above face value may be restricted by the organizer or by law.
Entry & scanning
Each ticket carries a secure, single-admission code. Duplicate or altered codes are rejected at the gate. Some events use rotating codes that refresh in your live wallet; screenshots of those will not scan.
Ride bundles
When an event offers a bundled Wave ride, the ride is provided under Wave’s transportation terms. Ticketing and ride components of an order may be governed by their respective policies.
Privacy
Information you provide to buy and use tickets is handled per Wave’s Privacy Policy. Organizers receive the attendee information needed to run their event (such as name and check-in status).
